Ed Cox

After being a CEO for over 20 years, I now get to help other people who run companies lead more productive, fulfilling lives.

I lead groups for business leaders in the Central Coast of California, U.S.A.

I lead a “Tree House Group” for independent professionals, and I coach a very limited number of highly motivated leaders.

I have become passionate about finding ways to help small-to-medium sized businesses to be successful. And one category of small business near to my heart is the “independent professional.” We are on our own with no employees. We are helping other people and companies and we do nearly everything ourselves to make that possible. For these people in the Central Coast of California, I lead a group called “The Tree House Group.” For larger businesses, I lead a CEO/Presidents’ group for companies with from 20 to 400 employees. We call that “The Insight Group.” My blog and a big part of my professional focus is on providing ideas, tools, support, and connections for fellow independent professionals and small-to-medium sized companies around the world. I want to learn from those who have figured some things out. I want best practices to emerge and be used by as many of us as possible. After all, we are a significant part of the world economy. After all, independent professionals and small-to-mid sized companies provide more than half of the economic activity globally.
